InSync users also have the option of transmitting their patient statements electronically to any vendor (MDOL, Gateway EDI, Billflash, or Practice Insight) for them to mail on their behalf.
To transmit the statements to vendor for mailing:
1. | Select the check box prior to the patient name whose statement you want to print. You can select more than one patient at single time. |
2. | Click the icon prior to the patient name to expand the list of claims of that patient. The user can select one or more claims that have to be printed. |
3. | To enter a common dunning message for all aging, deselect the Print Default Dunning Message check box and enter the dunning message in the text box provided. |
4. | To enter the different dunning messages for different aging, Click the Manage Dunning Messages button. Enter the message in the relevant text box and save it. |
| Note: When the patient statement is generated for multiple aging, the dunning message configured for higher aging will be printed on the patient statement. |
5. | Select Primary Address and Billing Contact to be displayed on the statements. Update the numbers, if required. |
6. | To include reason code/description on the statements, select the include Reason Code/Description check box. |
7. | To include payment comments on the statements, select the Print Payment Comments check box. |
8. | To preview the selected statements, click Preview. |
9. | To transmit the selected statements, click Transmit. |
Note:
• | If you have not signed up for the electronic transmission of patient statements to MDOL but would like do so, please call customer service at 844-930-0532 or e-mail support@insynchcs.com. |
• | Family type statement cannot be transmitted. |
• | Patient name mentioned with '(P)' indicates that this is a primary patient of the family. |
• | Once Primary Family Member’s statement is printed, system updates the Processed Type, Last Processed Date, Statement History, and Total Statements count for primary and respective family members. |
