Recording Plan / Counseling

The Plan/Counseling section allows recording provider’s plan for the patient for Anesthesia, Child Birth Classes, Travel, and so on. Practice users can select the check box to record detailed plan for any of the elements in respected text box.

 

The Others section allows providers to record additional important details that includes whether blood transfusion is acceptable, antepartum anesthesia consult planned, and umbilical cord blood banking discussed. The dates for the tubal sterilization consent signed and history and physical have sent to the hospital also can be selected from the same section.

 

Providers plan recorded in Plan / Counseling section appears on the Antepartum report.

 

To record Plan/Counseling:

1.In the charting elements ribbon, click Antepartum Form.
2.To open plan/counseling section, click Plan/Counseling.
3.To record plan for any of the elements listed in Plan/Counseling section, select the check box prior to the element and enter comments in respective text box.
4.In others section select appropriate options for, blood transfusion, antepartum anesthesia consult, and umbilical cord blood banking.
5.Enter or select the date on which tubal sterilization consent was signed.
6.Enter or select the date on which history and physical details are sent to the hospital.
7.Enter Requests, if any.
8.Enter Comments, if any.
9.Click Save & Next. The Postpartum screen is displayed.
