The Patient Appointment Reminder feature allows setting up reminders for the patients for their upcoming appointments.
To set a patient appointment reminder:
1. | Click the icon. |
2. | Select the Visit Profile and Scheduler from the drop-down. |
3. | Select the Visit Status Filter as Pending, Confirm, or both by selecting the appropriate check box. The patient name for the selected search is displayed below.+ |
4. | Select the Visit Type from the drop-down. |
5. | Select the date from the Calendar icon and enter the time to set up a Phone, Email, or Text reminder. |
Note:The Phone, Email, and Text Reminders are available only when configured.
6. | Select the check box corresponding to the patient name in the Phone, Email, or Text columns to send phone, e-mail, or text reminders respectively. You can also select the check boxes from the column heading to send the appointment reminder to all the patients at once. |
Note:The details such as phone number, mobile number, and e-mail ID should be available for all the check boxes to be enabled.
7. | Click Submit. The reminder is set. |
8. | Click the icon to view the appointment reminder details. |
9. | Once the appointment reminder details are added, hover your mouse pointer over the patient name and you will see patient’s contact details such as Phone Number, Mobile Number, and E-mail address. If the check box is disabled, then you will see the information on the mouse hover whether the service is exempted for that patient or the Phone/Email/Text respective details are not recorded. |
