Patient Appointment Reminder

The Patient Appointment Reminder feature allows setting up reminders for the patients for their upcoming appointments.

 

To set a patient appointment reminder:

1.Click the Appointment reminder icon.
2.Select the Visit Profile and Scheduler from the drop-down.
3.Select the Visit Status Filter as Pending, Confirm, or both by selecting the appropriate check box. The patient name for the selected search is displayed below.+
4.Select the Visit Type from the drop-down.
5.Select the date from the Calendar icon and enter the time to set up a Phone, Email, or Text reminder.

 Note:The Phone, Email, and Text Reminders are available only when configured.

6.Select the check box corresponding to the patient name in the Phone, Email, or Text columns to send phone, e-mail, or text reminders respectively. You can also select the check boxes from the column heading to send the appointment reminder to all the patients at once.

         Note:The details such as phone number, mobile number, and e-mail ID should be available for all the check boxes to be enabled.

7.Click Submit. The reminder is set.
8.Click the Appointment reminder icon to view the appointment reminder details.
9.Once the appointment reminder details are added, hover your mouse pointer over the patient name and you will see patient’s contact details such as Phone Number, Mobile Number, and E-mail address. If the check box is disabled, then you will see the information on the mouse hover whether the service is exempted for that patient or the Phone/Email/Text respective details are not recorded.
